There are many augmentative communication (AAC) devices and apps on the market.
How do you determine which one to use? Also, do you go with sign or PECS or AAC? First rule of thumb: Consult a Speech Language Pathologist if one is available. In addition, use this scoring guide to determine the recommended communication modality when teaching your student or child:

We often use Proloquo2Go (P2G) often as it’s easy to use. However, the attached programs can be used with any AAC program. It just may need to be individualized to your client’s AAC device.
