Use these data sheets to record either partial or whole interval recording.
Whole Interval Recording – The behavior must occur for the entire interval to be recorded
Note: This type of recording often underestimates rates of behavior.
Partial Interval Recording – The behavior can occur at any time throughout the interval to be recorded.
Note: This type of recording often overestimates rats of behavior.
These data sheets are also good for showing approximate duration (e.g., of tantrums), as well as frequency of “episodes” of negative behavior.
