Prerequisite Skills: 200+ expressive labels, basic social questions, turn-taking, 3+ word phrases, commenting.
1. First teach comment-comment with simple things that the student can see or hold. Example – I see a fish. I see a cat.
2. Then expand comment-comment to 2-3 exchanges. See video below.
3. Then teach comment-comment to fluency if a student is not commenting back within 1 second of the sd.
